[mwf1]1 I understand that this position opportunitiy relates to TOY. But it’s uncommon to put specific qualifications/info up here. Reader expects them below.

[mwf2]1 Section is usually labeled ‘Objectives’. Am struggling with the centered headings as compared to the left justifies ones on the other version of your resume. One of your challenges is managing space. In my view, your resume should FIT ON ONE PAGE. Therefore, you need to be efficient with what you put on each line.

[mwf3]1 I like how this statement is tailored to the specific opportunity.

[mwf4]1 No need to boldface AND underline. Usually, just boldface is fine.

[mwf5]1 I liked the order on the other resume a bit better. Dates first. Reader often likes to see the chronology (from most recent backwards).

[mwf6]1 This is good and belongs here. Reader will also be looking for GPA. Also, any coursework, projects, or skills that you’ve acquired during your college experience that applies toward the job opportunity would be useful (e.g, teamwork skills, senior project in auto industry analysis, quality improvement training, etc.)

[mwf7]1 For child care I usually think of watching kids while parents are working. This is apparently different.

[mwf8]1 Using action verbs to lead off these bullets is good. That said, some of these items need to be more specific. For example, on this one, what were these activities and how do they relate your skills as a manager. Good lead off verbs for managers include planned, organized, led, monitored, controlled, created, initiated, coordinated, reduced, generated, developed—among others…

[mwf9]1 How did you help kids or family be more successful???

[mwf10]1 This is good. Many readers will be looking for ‘metrics’ such as these. Others to consider: nightly sales at the restaurant, number of customers typically served. Did sales, satisfaction, etc happened to increase during your time there? Can you identify an improvement or efficiency gains that occurred during your time there?

[mwf11]1 My inclination is to suggest that you merge work and volunteer experience. Volunteer/service work is good, and often develops as many or more skills than many ‘paying’ jobs.

[mwf12]1 Teamed with three other members…?

[mwf13]1 Metric…noice!

[mwf14]1 Good. What did the meetings concern or what were outcomes?

[mwf15]1 Lots of repetition of activities between these 3 high school leadership roles. Leads me to wonder whether they couldn’t be combined in some way. Saves space. Plus common theme of high school leadership might be highlighted.

[mwf16]1 Dunno about this one…supported???

[mwf17]1 Excellent. Sometimes this category is labeled Professional Affiliations. Another useful category often placed between affiliations and references is Personal Interests (hobbies, etc.). Surprisingly, such interests often spur conversation during interviews.

[mwf18]1 I know it saves space, but readers often want to see the positions (importance) of the people who will serve as your reference—even if they have no plans whatsoever of contacting them. I think you should include names, positions, contact info for two.
