Tea and Tissues
Kindergarten Parents - After you drop your little one off for his or her first day of school please join us in the lobby of IVE (outside the library) for our annual Tea & Tissues event. We will have light snacks, coffee, tea, and plenty of tissues to dry those eyes!!

Ribbon Cutting Ceremony
You’re Invited! Please join us for a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony on the new playground on August 31st at 8:30 a.m.
The ribbon cutting ceremony for the new playground is to thank all of the sponsors, donors, parents, staff, PTA and everyone else who participated and helped raise funds at our 2016 PTA Auction, to bring such a wonderful addition to our playground at IVE.
The new addition, which is crossfire playground equipment, goes hand in hand with our emphasis on health and fitness in our schools. We are excited to offer this to our students to use during PE, recess and after school, as well as something readily available for our community.
This will happen prior to our official back to school kickoff.
We encourage families to join us prior to meeting their new teachers. The playground is ready for you!

Our Fall Fun Run is right around the corner! We will once again be partnering with Orange Ruler so our kids learn the importance of teamwork and living a healthy lifestyle whileraising money to supportPTA programs.

Popcorn Fridays!
A popular PTA fundraiser here at IVE is Popcorn Fridays! Every Friday, students may purchase popcorn during their lunch period for 25 cents a bag OR 10 cents for the first bag if they are wearing IVE spirit wear OR by trading in 15 Cougar Awards.
The special ingredient in our popcorn on Popcorn Fridays are the parent volunteers that run the machine during the three lunch periods. The typical time commitment is from 1:10 p.m. to2:30 p.m. Volunteers can choose when and how often they want to pop; once a month, every other month, whatever works best for each volunteer’s schedule. Training sessions are held periodically!
Please give it a try – it is a wonderful way to meet other IVEparentsas well as spend time getting to know the students and staff at IVE! Clickhereto sign up! Popcorn Fridays begin September 16th!
