Day 1,

Bangkok-Paro(2,280m)-Thimphu (2,320m)

- On board Druk Air ( Royal Bhutan airline ) to Paro

- 1.5 Hours drive Thimphu

- Thimphu –The capital city of Bhutan

- Walking Tour Start at Clock tower Square

- Weekend Market (Sat & Sun)

- Changmlimithang Archey Field

- Budhha Viewpoint

- Trashi Chhoe Dzong/Fortress built in 17th century

Day 2

Thimphu – Hike to Tango monastery the first Monastic school in Bhutan then to Paro

- Hike to the beautiful Tango monastery located at the hilltop

- visit walk to the wangdi tshe monastery

-Lunch at Bhutan Kitchen

- Watch archery

- visit weekend market

- Evening drive to Paro

Day 3

Thimphu-Punakha (1,300m)(Drive take 3 hours)

-Visit Semtokha Dzong, the oldest Fortress in Bhutan built in 1629 by Zhabdrung Rimpoche

- Dochula Pass (3050m) one of the most beautiful pass among all the passes in Bhutan.

- Enjoy beautiful view of the Himalaya

- 108 Bhutanese Stupas

-Visit Druk wangyel chorten dedicated to His Majesty the forth King Jigme singye wangchuck

-Lunch will be serve on the pass with beautiful view of Nature and Himalaya

- Visit Botanical park and hike around small lake

-Stop against valley view for short walk to stretch our legs

-Evening Tea

Overnight at Hotel Dubchu/Meriphunsum

Day 4

Punakha Magnificent valley sightseeing

- Punakha Dzong is one of the most magnificent and scenic fortress in Bhutan, it’s a second oldest Dzong

- Hike to Khamsum Yuelley Namgyal Chorten/temple. It’s easy and short hike through the rice field and farm houses, be prepare with your camera for amazing views.(1.5hours)

-Hike to Chimi lhakhang or temple of fertility: Another beautiful hike through farm houses and rice field. This popular hike is mostly made by many young couples who don’t conceive baby after long marriage

-Evening Tea

Overnight at hotel Dubchhu/Meri phunsum

Day 5

Punakha-Wangdue phodrang- Trongsa (Drive takes 5.5 hours)

- Wangdue Phodrang Dzong, it is third oldest Dzong

- Drive to Pelala pass, enjoy the pristine environment and waterfall

- Lunch at Nobding/Chendebji

-Stop at Chendebji chorten/stupa built in 18th century

-Evening Tea

-Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Day 6

Trongsa-Bumthang ( Drive take 3 hours)

- Visit Trongsa Dzong, the ancestral home of the Royal family

-Visit watch tower of Trongsa

-Lunch at watch Tower with view of Dzong below.

- Drive to Bumthang

- Visit chummy textile weaving centre woven by yak hair and sheep wool

- Wangdichholing Palace

Evening Tea

-Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Overnight at Gongkhar lodge/Peling

Day 7

Bumthang historical sightseeing, evening drive to farm house 1.5 hours

- Visit Wangdichholing Palace, the house of the first and second king of Bhutan

- Jampey Lhakhang built in 7thcentury before Buddhism came to Bhutan

- Kurjey Lhakhang built in 8th century, Buddhism arrive in 8thcentury

- Walk to Tamshing Goemba built in 15th century by treasure discoverer

- After lunch, drive to our host farm house

- Receive with white scarf by the host family members, and much joy and excitement

- Offered traditional butter tea, and orientation around

- You could enjoy monks team preparing a ritual cakes in the private shrine

- Leisure walk around the sacred village and pristine environment to clean your lungs

- Dinner with the family members, experience a living museum of our four fathers

Overnight at farm house(basic need only)

Day 8

Ritual and traditional wedding ceremony with locals for whole day

- A group of monks including priest arrive for the day with red robes and chanting from far away temple

- Host family serve them breakfast and butter tea, they ‘re all excited to meet the bride and groom

- Followed by villagers with their fine dress and colorful outfit

- Some would help into cooking, help to make a traditional noodles, girls usually does serving the guests

- Elderly men and women seat by the side and chant the prayers

- People started laughing, smiling, eating, drinking and enjoy for a whole day

- You could buy the traditional outfit to impress the whole villagers

- Greeted by the people and the monk’s team with smile, even though they would hardly communicate

- Groom will arrive with the procession ceremony to meet the bride from other direction

- Bride must wait near the entrance holding a bowl filled with milk for good luck

- Bride and groom be seated at the shrine with a higher priest for the blessings

- After blessing, people line up with scarf to wish their prayers

-Lunch break

- After lunch, enjoy own your own with the locals and traditional activities

- Evening folk dance with the campfire by the locals

- Enjoy last dinner with locals

- Goodbye and farewell by the locals

Overnight at farm house(basic need only)

Day 9

Bumthang- Trongsa - Punakha (8 hours)

-After early breakfast, retour to Punakha valley via Trongsa

-Stop at view point of Trongsa for tea/ coffee

- Enjoy beautiful drive through black mountain national park

- Lunch at Chendiji/Tushita Restaurant

- Enjoy a while in the breath-taking valley

- Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner at the hotel

Day 10

Punakha – Paro via beautiful Pass (3050m)

- Re-tour to Paro via 3050m Pass

- Stop for tea/ coffee

- Enjoy beautiful drive through royal Botanical Park

- Lunch at time

- Lunch at Thimphu or in Paro

- Leisure walk in paro traditional town

- Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner at the hotel

Day 11

Beautiful hike against the view of Paro valley, fortress and National museum (3 hours)

- Visit National museum

- A beautiful hike from Museum to Zurig Dzong, please do not miss it

- Visit several times on the way

- Hike through the view of Paro Dzong, valley and airport

-Walk for shopping

-Drugyel Dzong/Fortress

-Evening Tea

-Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Day 12

Paro valley: spiritual day excursion to Tiger Nest. (7hours total round trip)

- Hike toTaktsang Goemba-Tiger’s Nest take 7hours including photo stop and lunch at Cafeteria

-800m climb from valley floor

-Moderate-hard, drink lots of water

-carry enough water

-Riding ponies are available at their own cost

-1 hour to first view point, where there is cafeteria, you will be serve tea/coffee with a view of the monastery

-Reach to second view point, be careful with steep steps

-Beautiful photo stop

-No camera, mobile and bags are allowed inside monastery

- walk back for lunch to cafeteria

Day 13

Paro-Bangkok

DrukAir departs early, after breakfast, your guide and driver will see you off at the airport. You need to check in two hours before departure.
