Career Summary/Work Experience

Sept 2016 – Present: Aspin Group – Procurement Administrator

My main function in this job is:

·  Use Sage 200 to deliver lines on purchase orders as I receive proof of delivery (PODs) chasing up suppliers and colleagues for delivery notes or confirmation that items have been received

·  Regularly file all physical delivery notes in to folders by supplier name and use a system called Syrinx to add electronic delivery and collection notes

·  Look at invoices that are missing delivery notes and request confirmation, deliver these when approved

Maintain the Supplier Database, particularly the addition of new suppliers. This includes:

·  Sending out new supplier questionnaires to the requested person or email address and following up

·  Requesting forms, Terms and Conditions and insurance details, complete the forms and get terms checked by a colleague and negotiate the terms on their behalf until an agreement is made

Maintain the PPE stock by:

·  Keeping up to date stock sheets including performing stock takes, record when anything is given out or new items are received in, place a requisition to order in more items as needed

I have also been regularly helping one of the Quantity Surveyors by:

·  Compiling spreadsheets with job costings, inputting and completing CVRs to provide more accurate cost estimations, completing applications for payment and closing contract forms, keeping records up to date regarding onsite works and time spent on projects by the design teams

·  Searching for suitable CVs and contacting the candidate to gage or gain their interest in the job opportunity, preparing and sending suitable CVs to clients

·  Liaising with both candidates and clients to arrange interviews, start dates and feedback as necessary via phone or email

·  Preparing and sending out marketing mailers for exceptional candidates, mapping clients in new areas as needed for further marketing mailers and calling clients to gain feedback
