English Students interested in Honors English need to have earned a “B” grade or higher in English 10 and be at or above grade level reading. These students should be interested in a challenging college preparatory curriculum.
Math Students will be placed in either SEC Math 3 or SEC Math 3 Honors.
U.S. History All AP courses are considered to be the most rigorous curriculum and highly motivated students will be successful in these courses.
Science Students who are currently enrolled in a Physics with Tech. class should register for Chemistry and students who are enrolled in Biology should take a Physics with Tech. class.
AP Science classes are available for students who are on the advanced science track and/or are interested in science related careers.
PE All students will be required to earn 1.5 credits of P.E. You will need to take (1) at least 0.5 credits fitness or skills and (2) 1.0 credits of other PE to meet graduation requirements.
Foreign Language 2 years of a foreign language are required for the Regents’ Scholarship and/or admission to University of Utah.
