Your order will come to me and then be delivered to your child's classroom (in about two weeks) for them to take home, unless a note indicates it is a gift. Extra catalogues are available outside the computer lab. All orders are due by Friday, December 5, 2008.

Contact Annemarie Gucwa (739-6748) if you have any questions.

From the Nurse: Many people get chapped lips from time to time. Lips may become chapped for many reasons- for example licking your lips, dehydration, exposure to wind, sun, or cold dry air. There are many things parents can do to treat and prevent chapped lips--Please consider these tips:

v  Protect your child’s lips with an oil based lubricating cream or lip balm containing petrolatum or beeswax. Consider having your child apply lip balm prior to school, after school and before bedtime.

v  Please do not send your children to school with medicated chapped stick.

v  Cover your child’s mouth with a scarf before going outside in the cold and dry weather.

v  Stay hydrated! Drink plenty of fluids and moisten the air in your home with a humidifier.

v  Encourage your child to avoid licking their lips. Avoid flavor lip balm- which may tempt your child to lick their lips even more.
