Entry requirements for the course(s):
Skilful Skiing – rhythmical parallel arcs on blue and red runs
Level 3 – Hold Level 2 Licence with UK Snowsports or letter of exemption from UKSS
To maximise your learning and enjoyment from the Level 3 course we recommended that you have had experience of teaching or coaching skiers who are parallel steering since your last qualification.
Level 4 – Hold Level 3 Licence with UK Snowsports or letter of exemption from UKSS
Any medical conditions that may affect your participation on the courses must be disclosed and may require discussion with the tutor prior to the course.

Course Fee / The course is booked with Snowsport England. A deposit secures your place whilst you make the other arrangements. / The price includes tutor fees. Level 3 and Level 4 courses include a Resource Book.
Accommodation / This is a residential course with the accommodation booked separately by you with the hotel. Alison and Peter know how these courses run and can answer your accommodation and travel questions. Flights / Flights are arranged by you – book early for good prices. The best airports to fly to are Salzburg, Munich or Innsbruck. Further advice on airport choice available from Club Hotel Edelweiss. / Arrive Saturday for course start on Sunday, depart Saturday.
Transfers / Various transfers are available from the airport direct to the hotel. Once you have confirmed your flights you can book the transfers through Club Hotel Edelweiss. / Shared or private transfers

Lunches / We eat at mountain restaurants – they serve excellent quality and variety of food and drink at reasonable prices. As a policy, they charge about the same as the restaurants and cafes in the valley. / Lots more information at

Prior knowledge requirements / It’s advisable to have spent time teaching or coaching skiers who are parallel steering before you attend the Level 3 course. / On the Level 3 and 4 courses you will be coaching your peers whilst they perform parallel skiing tasks.
Pre-course preparation / Provided we receive your booking in good time, you will be sent your Resource Book prior to the course. You should familiarise yourself with the layout, so you can navigate around it easily whilst on the course. / To perform at your best, you should consider your personal fitness; take action if needed!
Ski equipment / Most candidates for the Level 3 and 4 courses bring their own skis and boots. Level 3 candidates should use skis suitable for performing Core Form parallel skiing on piste. Level 4 candidates also ski in variable snow.
There is a big ski storage room at the hotel with boot driers (see picture below). / Ski rental is available locally if required. 6-day hire is approximately €95 for 5* skis or €65 for 4* skis. More info from

When does the course start? / Try to time your travel to arrive by 1800hrs on Saturday to have dinner with your tutors. / Courses start after breakfast on the Sunday morning.
