10th REGION OUTSTANDING CHEERLEADER APPLICATION

The 10th Region cheerleading sponsors are happy to announce the availability of the 10th Region Outstanding Cheerleader Award. This award is offered to honor an outstanding cheerleader in the 10th Region each year.

This award emphasizes the following areas:

  1. Cheerleading Achievements
  2. Academic Standards
  3. School Honors and Activities
  4. Community Honors and Activities
  5. High Moral Character

In order to qualify for this award, the applicant must be a member in good standing with his/her squad.

PROCEDURE

All applicants must:

  1. Complete all parts of the application. Please type or print in ink.

B. Obtain 3 letters of recommendation from:

  1. Principal
  2. Coach
  3. One other person of their choice

The character of the applicant must be above reproach

C. Submit a completed application, transcript, and letters of

Recommendation postmarked by NOVEMBER 10, 2017or you may email by November 10, 2017to . Incompleteapplications or applications received after this date will not be considered. If you would like an electronic version of this application it is available from your coach, KAPOS.org website or by .

  1. The school counselor or principal must complete Section II.

  1. The recipient of the awards will be announced during the Regional Cheerleading Competition. There will be one (1) overall winner and four (4) runners up winners for a total of five (5) Scholarships. The amount of the scholarships will be determined by the coaches of the 10th Region after all expenses have been paid.
