RE: Nashville Promotional offers / Contracts
Effective February 2, 2014 (Period 1- Week 1 of 2014), Kroger will launch the new Nashville division. This new division will include stores in the middle Tennessee and southern Kentucky areas (Mid-South Division) and the northern Alabama and Knoxville areas(Atlanta division). The new division number will be 026. At the same time these stores, currently a Sunday to Saturday ad week, will transition to a Wednesday to Tuesday ad week.
Promotional Offers for Nashville:
Tradepoint
Effective November 4th2013,the Nashville division will be an option for you to selectinTradepoint. Selecting ‘ALL’ divisions will include Nashvilleautomatically or it can be added manually when a subset of the divisions is needed. Nashville offers will default to the correct date defaults based on their new ad dates. To make things simple, ANY NEW offer that is submitted on or after November 4thshould include the Nashville division if it will include Mid-South and/or Atlanta. Offers specific to Atlanta or Mid-South should also include the Nashville division. This is regardless of start or end date. There will be no danger of duplicate billing since Kroger billing systems can only bill for one division / store relationship at a time. (IE – an offer that includes Nashville that starts on Nov. 13 and ends on Nov. 19 will not have any billing movement from which to bill. Therefore, it’s OK if Nashville is on the offer for dates prior to period 1, week 1.)
Any offer that was submitted prior to November 4th should NOT be modified. This direction includes all contract types. Offers submitted prior to November 4ththat include the Atlanta and MidSouth divisions will be copied over,in Kroger systems only, to include the new Nashville division. Tradepoint, however, will not be updated. This conversion will happen sometime in January of 2014.
DSD List cost changes normally sent through Tradepoint should also not be sent for Nashville until after the January 6 conversion of DSD data.
EDI

Allcontracts submitted via EDI should include Nashville if the contract is valid for Mid-South or Atlanta, regardless of start or end dates. Just like Tradepoint offers, there will be no danger of duplicate billing for EDI contracts since Kroger billing systems can only bill for one division / store relationship at a time. (IE – a contract that includes Nashville that starts on Nov. 13 and ends on Nov. 19 will not have any billing movement from which to bill. Therefore, it’s OK if Nashville is on the offer for dates prior to period 1, week 1.)
Any contract that was submitted prior to November 4th should NOT be resent for Nashville. This direction includes all contract types. Contracts submitted prior to November 4th for the Atlanta and Mid-South divisions will be copied over, in Kroger systems only, to include the new Nashville division.

Manual
Effective November 4th 2013, the Nashville division will be a valid Kroger division in Kroger internal systems for manual entry of contracts (IE - 1285 paper contracts). Even though Kroger can begin accepting manual/1285 paper contracts for Nashville on November 4th 2013,manual contracts won’t be entered until January 6, 2014. Allmanual/1285 paper contractssubmitted or entered after January 6, 2014 shouldinclude Nashville if the contract is valid for Mid-South or Atlanta, regardless of the start or end date. There will be no danger of duplicate billing since Kroger billing systems can only bill for one division / store relationship at a time. (IE – a contract that includes Nashville that starts on Jan. 15 and ends on Jan. 21 will not have any billing movement from which to bill. Therefore, it’s OK if Nashville is on the offer.)
