1). Why do you spend time practicing with your praise team?

2). If you are given only an hours’ notice that you need to lead a worship set, give a realistic time breakdown of what you would do to prepare in that hour.

3).Read 2 Samuel 6:1-6 and describe Uzzah’s intentions. In light of God’s actions were Uzzah’s intentions good enough for God?

4. Read the following passages from the Old Testament. As you will notice in each story the worshiper had good intentions, but their worship was not accepted. For each passage discuss why you think their worship was not accepted.

a. Genesis 4:3- 7

b. Leviticus 10:1-2

c. 1 Samuel 13:1-14

d. 2 Samuel 6:1-6

5). Read John 4:1-26. Describe what you think Jesus means by “true worshipers will worship the Father in the Spirit and in truth.”

6). It is clear that worship has changed with the ultimate sacrifice of Christ. With this in mind describe acceptable worship.
