COMING IN JULY 2017
Wesleyan Chapel is announcing the introduction of an online electronic option for making regular offerings. Starting in July 2017, contributions/offerings can be debited automatically from your checking or savings account or processed using your credit or debit card or by text messages.
If you are currently giving on a weekly basis, you will no longer need to write out 52 checks a year or prepare 52 envelopes. And, when traveling, illness or other circumstances prevent you from attending services, this program will allow your weekly offerings to continue on an uninterrupted basis.
Giving online is easy and allows you to set up automatic recurring contributions and view your complete online giving history from anywhere you have access to the Internet. Simply follow these easy steps:
1) Visit the church website at
2) Click on the “Give”pull down screen in the upper right-hand corner of the screen.
3) Click on the “Give Now” button.
4) This takes you to a screen “Welcome to Wesleyan Chapel UMC.”
5) Complete the “Giving Details” of amount you want to give, fund you want this gift to go to, and your email address, then click on “continue.”
6) This takes you to a screen which you either “Create an Account” or you “Continue as a Guest.” Follow the remaining onscreen instructions schedule your contributions. People who create an account will have access to saved payment methods and be able to choose their gift frequency. They can also view their giving history as well as pledges.
7) Follow the online instructions for the “Payment Details” for either a credit/debit card information or for your checking account information. Then select “Give.”
8) Follow the remainder of the online instructions and complete the process, it’s easy.
9) You will be emailed a confirmation of your gift after you complete the process and sign out.
We are also offering a mobile version of our online giving program to make it easy for you to give anytime from your smart phone or iPad.
1)You must first go to the Church’s web site, and create an account – see instructions above using steps 1-6.
2)The simply go to the App Store on your mobile devise and download the ACS Church Life Mobile App.
3) Now you have an account/profile and using your email address and password that was set up on the Church’s web site you can sign in the Church Life App.
4) Now open the ACS Church App on your phone/iPad, and sign in. You may need to changes pages by sliding your finger to the left or right of the page to get to the correct sign in page – use the page with email and password, not the site number page.
5) Follow the on-screen instructions to make your gift. These instructions are very similar to the instructions indicated above for the Church’s web site instructions.
You can also now make your contribution with a quick text message. To get started, visit the church website at Locate the link to our online giving page and create anaccount/profile if you haven’t already—be sure to opt in to send text donations. You will receive a confirmation text and email with instructions on how to text donations. These three easy steps will enable you to do text giving:
