Micro Preemie Bunting
TLC Baby, Bernat Softee, Baby Bee Sweet Delight
US Size 3 straight needles and DPNs
Measurements: Chest 6 1/2", Lenth 10" or 12"
Buttons for closure
Cast on 27 stitches
Neck:
Row 1: K1, P1 across
Row 2: P1, K1 to end.
Row 3: K1, P1 across, placing markers after 6 sts, 4sts, 7 sts and 4 sts. There will be 6 sts remaining.
Now you will start stockinette. Start with 4 knit and end with 4 knit on every row.
Work until you have 14 sts on each side or until it is 2 1/2" long. End on a purl row.
Next row work an eyelet at beginning of row (K2, YO,K2tog). Knit to first marker. Place all sts to next marker on on a piece of yarn. Knit to next marker. Place all sts to next marker on a piece of yarn.

Knit 5, increase, knit 5, increase, across
Purl across
Knit 10, increase, knit 10 increase, across
Continue in stockinette until desired length, making eyelets at appropriate intervals.
Make drawstring row by K1, YO,K2tog across row.
Purl next row.
Bind off next row.
Pick up sleeve stitches on DPNs and pick up sts under arm to avoid a hole. You should have 20-24 sts on your needles. Knit 10 rows then 3 rows in K1, P1. Bind off. (You can also do stockinette on straight needles and sew up seams) Repeat with other sleeve.
Boy Bunting
I usually ch 70 and weave through the eyelet row. I use tiny buttons down the front, I don't make eyelet rows because the sts are big enough to go around the tiny buttons.
Hat:
With DPNs cast on 40 sts. K1,P1 for 1 1/2" then stockinette until 3" long. Decrease every 10 sts on next row, then 9, then 8 until you have 3 or 4 sts left on each needle. Weave yarn through the remaining needles. The hat should measure 3 1/2" x 3 1/2".
Micro Preemie Booties
Use size 3 needles and using lightweight sport or fingering yarn.
Cast on 25 sts
Knit for 8 rows
Knit 10, knit 2 tog, knit 1, knit 2 tog, knit 10
Purl 9, purl 2 tog, purl 1, purl 2 tog, purl 9
Knit 8, knit 2 tog, knit 1, knit 2 tog, knit 8
Purl 7, purl 2 tog, purl 1, purl 2 tog, purl 7
Knit 1, Purl 1 for 5 rows
For stretchy cast off work as follows:
Knit 1, yo, knit 1, cast off 2 sts together across.
Fold in half and sew up seams with right sides together.
BLANKET
This is for a 9" baby doll.
Cast on 90 sts onto size 3 needles.
Knit 5 rows.
Row A: Knit 5, Purl across to last 5 sts, Knit last 5 sts.
Row B: Knit across.
Repeat rows A and B until you get the desired length.
Knit last 5 rows.
