1. The ticket price is $10. Make checks payable to St. Genevieve Church. The ticket represents a chance to win the opportunity of a stated prize subject to the terms and conditions expressed herein. No more than 10,000 tickets will be sold.
2. There will be four prize winners. The same person cannot win multiple prizes. After a person is picked for a prize, that same person is not eligible to win another prize. The raffle will take place as follows: the fourth prize winner will be picked first, the third prize winner will be picked second, the second prize winner third, the first prize winner fourth. The first prize winner shall pick any prize of his or her choice; then the second prize winner will pick a prize of his or her choice from the remaining prizes; then the third prize winner will pick a prize of his or her choice from the remaining prizes; the fourth prize winner will then receive the last remaining prize.
3. The prizes will be in order of value: 1) $5,000 toward a family trip to a Disney property or a $4,000 cash option; 2) $4,400 toward a trip for two to an all-inclusive Caribbean resort or a $4,400 trip for two to San Francisco or a $4,400 snow skiing trip for two to Colorado or a $3,400 cash option; 3) $4,000 toward a family trip to a Disney property or a $3,000 cash option; and 4) a $2,600 trip for two to Niagara Falls or a $1,700 cash option. Trips 1 and 3 will be arranged by Say Magical Vacations LLC; Trips 2 and 4 will be arranged by A World of Travel of Houma. All prizes are transferrable; any transferee must meet all conditions and deadlines herein. The details of all the trips depend on current conditions and prices quoted as of the day the trip is booked. St. Genevieve Church bears no responsibility for any aspect or outcome of any trip prize.
4. The winners must pay income taxes on his or her prize, due and payable in accordance with the law. Also, the ticket price is not deductible for income tax purposes. All sales are final and non-refundable.
5. The winners must be 18 years old; if a ticket is mistakenly purchased by a minor, the prize will be placed in the name of the minor’s legal tutor/guardian.
6. The winners need not be present at the drawing, but must present this ticket and proof of identification to claim the stated prize.
7. If a winner does not chose his or her stated prize in writing acknowledged as received by the St. Genevieve Church office, 815 Barbier Avenue, Thibodaux – the first place winner by October 31, 2017, the second prize winner by November 2, 2017, the third prize winner by November 6, 2017 and the fourth place winner by November 8, 2017 – then the winner will lose his or her ability to claim the prize. If one or more of the three winners fail to claim his or her prize(s) by the above applicable deadline(s), then the value of the prize(s) will be forfeited to St. Genevieve Church. If any of the winners choosing a trip do not book that winner's trip with the applicable travel agent by December 15, 2017, then the value of that trip will be forfeited to St. Genevieve Church.
8. Everyone is eligible to win a prize except the Pastor and Associate Pastor of St. Genevieve Church and the Bishop and Vicar General of the Diocese of Houma-Thibodaux.
9. The winners will be announced at different times from 5 to 7 pm on October 21, 2017 during the St. Genevieve Community Celebration on the campus of St. Genevieve Church and School, 807 Barbier Avenue, Thibodaux, Louisiana.
10. St. Genevieve Church reserves the right to use the names, photos, images, videos and relevant quotes of the winners.
