This blended workshop is continuing the series of professional development experiences that aid instructional personnel K-12, teaching, through the use of the Canvas Learning Management System (CLMS), to impact pedagogy by implementing blended and flipped learning principles into their everyday classroom. In this one-day workshop, participants will enrich their knowledge, skills, and abilities to use Canvas to deliver curriculum, manage curriculum content, and track student performance. Mastery of course content requires creation and implementation of classroom usage. Participants will be able to identify how Canvas facilitates blended learning for teaching and learning. Participants will investigate multiple ways in which the Canvas LMS will enable teachers to deliver lessons and assignments in consideration of the whole class and individual learners. Participants will create Canvas modules for organizing resources/files and will differentiate assignments by student and/or submission type to create individual learner pathways and monitor individual student progress. Learners will utilize instructional design principles to create, organize and deliver "chunked" course materials (Marzano Effect Size .61, Marzano Domain Question 1, Hattie Effect Size 1.3, ISTE-T Standard 2).

Collaboration provides deeper learning, adds variety to the classroom, and creates an engaging environment for students and teachers alike.
