Volunteer Newsletter January 2017

Dear All

I wish to take this opportunity to wish you all a very Happy New Year and to thank you sincerely for all your efforts last year. You were amazing…giving our visitors a wonderful welcome despite all the building work around you in the first half of the year. I know that your contributions are greatly appreciated by our visitors, our clergy and our staff and I look forward to a good year ahead too.

There are a couple of events that I would like to invite you along to…there will be others but these are the first two;

This will be run for a third time on Wednesday 8th February from 10am-12.15am and it is hoped we will attract the rest of our existing volunteers and new volunteers too. There will be a selection of the Cathedral Staff coming to speak to you including; Canon Tony Macpherson, Canon Leah Vasey-Saunders, Rev Tim Stevens, Tracey Yates, Roz Cochrane, Karn Dyson and me. Free Tea/Coffee and Biscuits will be provided. Please sign the list on the Volunteer Notice Board to indicate that you will attend or reply to me via e-mail.
