1. First, Create a Folder in Your Documents Folder Called Loops

Downloading Loops

In order to use looping software, you must use Royalty Free loops. “Royalty Free” means that you can use the loops for free without concern of copyright protection. These loops usually cost money, but there are some websites that offer loops for free.

Directions:

1.  First, create a folder in your “Documents” folder called “Loops”.

2.  Go to www.looperman.com .

3.  Click on the “Log In” tab.

6.  Once you have signed in, click on the tab that says “Loops and Samples”.

7.  Choose a category and choose a genre. Then click “search for loops”.

8.  Scroll down until you see the loops, like this:

10.  Click on the green box with the white arrow to sample the loop.

11.  If you plan on downloading a loop, make note of the “BPM”. All of your other loops will need to have the same BMP.

12.  You can search for loops with the same BPM by changing the “tempo” requirements.

13.  Once you find a loop that you like, click on the words that say “Download Loop”. (Under the play button).

15.  Next, click on the words “Download Loop”.

16.  Click “Save”.

17.  Save the loop to your ‘Loops’ folder that you created in step one. Title it something you will remember.

18.  Save as many as you want, but you must have at least one bass loop and one drum loop.
