Schedules

General Directions: Schedules

1.  Download the Door Schedule and Window Schedule.

2.  Arrange schedules on the sheet maintaining margins and alignment where possible

3.  Use 1/4" lettering for titles, 3/16" lettering for headings, and 3/32" lettering for general information. Set the Text Style to GENERAL.

Documentation and Specifications

1.  Review the floor plan and basement plan and determine the number of different windows used in the office building project. Use product catalogs, the Internet, CD's, etc. to select a style of window. Record the following information: Name of the manufacturer; type of window; rough opening size; sash size; and manufacturer number. Make a copy, print out a copy of the information from the source, or include the manufacturers catalog.

2.  Review the floor plan and basement plan and determine the number of different doors used in the office building project. Doors include main entrance, rear door, utility room doors, interior office doors, and closet doors. Use product catalogs, the Internet, CD's, etc. to select a style for the doors. Record the following information: Name of the manufacturer; type of door; rough opening size; and manufacturer number. Make a copy, print out a copy of the information from the source, or include the manufacturers catalog.

Window Schedules

1.  Make columns for schedule MARK, NUMBER (quantity), TYPE, ROUGH OPENING, SASH SIZE, MANUFACTURER’S NUMBER, and REMARKS.

2.  Indicate window material (wood, aluminum, steel, etc.) (place in remarks column)

3.  Indicate manufacturer (place in remarks column)

4.  Indicate glazing type (place in remarks column)

Door Schedules

  1. Make columns for schedule MARK, NUMBER (quantity), TYPE, ROUGH OPENING, nominal DOOR SIZE, MANUFACTURER’S NUMBER, and REMARKS

2.  Indicate door material (wood, aluminum, steel, etc.) (place in remarks column)

3.  Indicate type of door (flush, panel, louver, hollow, solid, etc.) (place in remarks column)

4.  Indicate manufacturer (place in remarks column)

5.  Indicate finish and color (place in remarks column)
