Explore the different subject content and watch different parts at home and on the go to help support you with your exam preparation. You can revise whole topics / parts as well as responding to set activities from you teachers. The content has been mapped to GCSE Specifications.
5)Staff…
Once you have logged in to the system you will see a screen that looks like the one below
6)Click on BROWSE CONTENT (top right)
7)Here you can browse the content by Department, Subject, Topics and Titles – this information is deep linkable so you can copy and paste the web address and email it to students so that they can get straight to the information you want them to look at.
Top Tip – Create a play list and save the URL and share this with your students
8)Create an assignment;
Within GCSE Pod you can create an assignment where after viewing the video clip students then respond to questions based on the topic to assess their understanding. These can be free text responses or multiple choice (these will self mark). The assignment needs to be assigned to your group* and once this is done you will be able to view a range of statistics to support follow up activities ie; what questions were answered well / common errors

9)Monitor Usage;
Within GCSE Pod you can monitor the usage of the site by students via a range of graphs and data ie; Total videos streamed, most number of downloads.
This data could be used to identify what is going well, how the site is being used and to share good practice between both staff and students.
* Groups may be added in the teacher area (manage group then create a group), students can be added one by one or for larger groups a CSV file may be imported.
** All staff can change student passwords in the teachers area – click on view user and reset password
