Coast down
*1 An interval of 6 monthsis sufficient, if the analyzer is validatedusing a mid span every month.
Range selection to be appropriate. (Separete sub-group discussion including linearization point setup)
*2 The mid span check should be performed every month, and after linearization. This tovalidate the linearity and the calibration gas used for linearization.
*3 Applicable for GC-FID
*4Applicable for FID with non-methane cutter
*5 On delivery, and every 5 years
*6 All used flows should be individually calibrated with a LFE or SAO in situ after installation of the CVS. The P-ratio for the CFV’s first calibration point should be =< 0.8.
This shall be repeted after major overhaul of the CVS.
Before each test the C1 shall be verified with internal flow meter, if available (SAO, LFE, Ultrasonic).
This check can be made by close the exhaust pipe, and compare the internal flow meter with the CFV volume. The result should be within 1%, of the original calibration.
*7 All temperature sensors used in flow calculations and for climate measurements should be calibrated yearly.
The signal should be verified to the measuring system including the signal conditioning system I/O.
*8All pressure transducers used in flow calculations and for climate measurements should be calibrated yearly.
The pressure transducer signal should be verified to the measuring system including the signal conditioning system I/O.
*9 On delivery, and after major overhaul
General comments:
Analyzer ranges should if possible use DSR (SingleDynamicRange), one range on each hardware gain.
DSR and MPR ranges should be tested with a midspan gas. This will verify the Gas divider and span gas.
Bag sniff for range selection is only needed for MPR Multiple ranges.
Only one calibration should be made for the sample bag and ambient bag, sample and ambient should be analyzed with the same range.
