The calculation of the "exclusion threshold" in accordance with article 49 § 4 (b) of the TEN-T Guidelines (the average traffic volume of the last six years, based on the relevant latest available Eurostat statistics) shows that, in several cases, this threshold would exceed both the initially applied threshold and the new "inclusion threshold". This situation is apparently a consequence of the economic crisis. Therefore, it is decided to postpone exclusions of ports, airports and other multi-modal infrastructure to the next updating procedure based onArticle 49 § 4 of the TEN-T Guidelines.
