6.1 Operation Sub Committee
Operation Sub committee is designed to be a fall back if money needs to get passed when the committee can not meet to pass it. The sub-committee is only authorized to pass up to $1000/ budget line.

Motion: That the Indigenous Committee approve a delegation to Operations Sub-committee of up to $1,000 for each Indigenous Department budget line

6.2 Indigenous Games BBQ
In week 2 and week 3 we will be running trials for Our Melbourne University Indigenous Uni games team. We are planning to run a social event for prospective players on Tuesday the 13th of March. This will just be a small gathering at Queens college. We are providing BBQ food for the event. The college will be providing alcohol and venue space and players will be expected to bring other food. The purpose of the BBQ is to build community among the prospective team.

Motion: That the Indigenous Committee approve up to $300 to come out of the the Sports grants and Engagement budget line to provide BBQ food to prospective Indigenous Games team members.

6.3 Indigenous Games Accomodation
Indigenous university games planning is well under way. We want to book the accommodation as soon as possible to ensure that we get the best price possible. We are booking accomodation for 30 people, which is 28 students and 2 staff members. We need to a place that is suitable for a large sports team, where we can be a little noisey. We also want to book a place that comes with its own linen and fully stocked kitchen as we will be cooking at the venue.

Motion: The the Indigenous Committee approve up to $15,000 to come out of the Sports grants and Engagement budget line to pay for the cost of accomodation for the Melbourne University Indigenous University Games team

6.4 Semester calendar
I have put together the calendar for this semester. Including all the events and dates of functions that we will be hosting. The purpose of these events is to build the Indigenous community at melbourne University. What are the committees thoughts on the events and dates? Once finalised it will need to be sent to comms to get it printed out.

Motion: To approve the Semester 1 events Calendar

6.5 Yearly calendar
I have put together the yearly calendar with all the dates that I find to be relevant to our department. Does the committee have any suggestions to add to the calendar. How is the wording for all of the relevant dates? After the calendar is approved it will need to be sent to Comms to do up for us.
