Day 1 – Friday 27th March 2015

04.45: Assemble at Ramsgrange C.S.

05.00: Depart for Dublin (we will not wait for anyone – BE ON TIME)

08.00Assemble in Dublin Airport – Terminal 2 for check-in at the allocated Aer Lingus desk.

10.00Depart on your scheduled EI 0522 flight from Dublin

12.40 Arrive intoCharles de Gaulle Airport – Terminal 1

We will be met byCoimbra Voyagescoach in the coach parking and transferred to Versailles for walk around the gardens.

17.30 Meet your coach at a prearranged location for transfer back to central Paris and to your evening meal.

19.00 Your evening meal will be served inFlunch Beaubourg,

20.00 You will meet with your guides at Parking Cours de la Reine, Place de la Concorde to commence a coach tour of the famous ‘PARIS ILLUMINATIONS’ during which you will see the historic landmarks, monuments and buildings of this magnificent city beautifully illuminated by floodlight, such as the Champs-Elysées, Arc de Triomphe, Place de la Concorde and other highlights.

Continue to your hotel for check-in and overnight stay.

Day 2 – Saturday 28th March 2015

09.00Following breakfast and check out of your hotel continuetoCaen.Journey time is approximately 4 hours.

Stop en route at HonFleur.

15.45 A reservation has been made for the group to visit Caen Memorial Museumwhere you can go on a historical journey from the end of World War I right through to the end of the Cold War. A projection of the D Day film will start at 17.30.

Your evening meal will be served in Flunch Herouville Saint Clair at 19.00

Day 3 – Sunday 29th March 2015

08.45Following breakfast in your hotel meet your coach and depart for Arromanches

10.00 A reservation has been made for your group to visitArromanches 360 .Here images are cleverly projected to encourage the feeling that you are in the heart of the D-Day action.

Ensure to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your scheduled time.

Afterwards take a walk on the beach at Arromanches where you can see the remains of ‘Port Winston’ or ‘Mulberry B’ , one of the two artificial harbours built by the Allies to land the men, supplies and equipment necessary for the Battle of Normandy.

Continue to Sainte Mère Église where you can see the famous church tower upon which the American paratrooper John Steele landed and became entangled as he parachuted into Normandy on June 6th 1944.

At 13.30 a reservation has been confirmed for your group to visit the Airborne Museum.

Continue to Utah Beach where you can view several German bunkers.A visit to the Pont Du Hoc is not to be missed. This cliff top location offers panoramic views of Utah Beach and the surrounding areas.

Omaha Beach is another one of the five landing beaches which can be visited today. Approximately 34000 soldiers of the 1st, 2nd and 29th Infantry Divisions landed on this beach on D-Day.

Head southwards towards the American Cemetery of Colleville-Sur-Mer where 9,387 white marble grave stones are perfectly lined up on the field that overlooks Omaha beach. This 70-hectare site was granted for life by France to the United States. It shelters the bodies of the American soldiers who died during the D-Day Landings and the Battle of Normandy.

At the German Battery of Longues-Sur-Mer, it is possible to see one of the only batteries of the Atlantic Wall with the guns still in place.

Day 4 – Monday 30th March 2015

Stop at Carre Four Hypermarket then continue to Charles de Gaulle Airport – Terminal 1for check in at the allocated Aer Lingus desk

15.00 Assemble at Charles de Gaulle Airport

17.00Depart on your scheduled EI 0527 flight from Paris

17.40 Arrive into Dublin Airport – Terminal 2
