It’s HEART HEALTHY MONTH! Wear RED Every TUESDAY in February.

This Friday at NHS, Students of Color will bring to you, "All Colors Matter" as part of our celebration of Black history month. The program begins at 7 pm in the NHSauditorium. Admission is free and everyone is cordially invited.

Teachers & Staff in the 200 & 300 Areas, please put your recycle bins in the hall for 7th period collection.

The Say What Action Summit isthis Saturday, Feb. 20 at the Nacogdoches Expo & Civic Center. If you signed up, arrive between 8-9 amfor check-in and breakfast. The event begins at 9 and ends at 5. Wear school appropriate comfortable clothes, tennis shoes, and bring a sweater as the building gets cold. You may bring your smart phones, tablets, iPads, but you are responsible for your own device at all times. See you there!

Financial Aid Night is on Monday, February 22 from 5:30 to 7:30 in the upstairs library computer lab. Juniors and Seniors and their parents are welcome to learn more about financial aid and the FAFSA.

Pen and Pigment Present “The Altered Book Project” Monday, Feb 22, 2016, 6:00pm-7:00pm, During Freshman Expo. Please join us for our open house in the library to display new art. Select classes have created a variety of sculptures, paintings, and models out of old books no longer in use. Light refreshments to be served, first come first served.

STUDENTS RIDING THE BUS, to ride a different bus than your regular bus in the afternoon, your parent or guardian must contact the bus barn to make the request BEFORE 12:00 NOON on the day you want to ride the different bus.

Congratulations to Dragon Golfer Ben Smith. Ben won a two-hole playoff to finish 2nd place in Bullard on Monday.

Ben shot a fine round of 77 in the tournament.

Each class voted on the two best to be matted and on display.
