TENDER NO. ZRL/TEN/MPS/0001/2016 - ADVERTISING OPPORTUNITIES ON THE LUSAKA COMMUTER TRAIN AND KABWE WARRIORS FOOTBALL CLUB STADIUM.
Zambia Railways Limited is an enterprise wholly owned by the Government of the Republic of Zambia and was established under the Railways Act No. 17 of 1982. Zambia Railways Limited provides rail Freight and Passenger transportation services in Zambia.
Zambia Railways Limited launched the commuter train in Lusaka on 25th May, 2015 to run between Ngwerere and Lilayi. About 36,000 passengers per month are transported by the commuter train along this stretch.
As part of its corporate social responsibility, Zambia Railways Limited sponsors Kabwe Warriors football club whose football stadium, The Railway Stadium, is in Kabwe, Central Province.
Zambia Railways Limited now wishes to invite sealed bids for advertising rights on the commuter train and the advertising spaces at the Railway stadium where companies can place their adverts through “Advertising Agents”
Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from the office of the Manager Procurement and Supplies at Zambia Railways Limited, Top Office, Corner Buntungwa Street and Ghana Avenue, P.O. Box 80935, Kabwe, Zambia from 08:00 hours to 13:00 hours and from 14:00 hours to 17:00 hours Zambian time, Monday to Friday. A complete set of Bidding Documents in English may be purchased by interested Bidders upon payment of a non-refundable fee of ZMK 500.00 (Kwacha Five Hundred) or its equivalent in any freely convertible currency at the prevailing exchange rate. The method of payment will be cash or bank certified Cheque.
Appropriately bound and sealed bids must be deposited in the Tender Box at the Reception at Top Office, Corner of Buntungwa Street and Ghana Avenue, Kabwe, Zambia on or beforeFriday, July01, 2016 at 10:00 hours Zambian time and any bids received after the stipulated time will not be accepted.
Bids must be appropriatelybound, sealed and labeled as either “TENDER NO.
