2017 Career Fair Presenter Information and Guidelines

  1. Each Presenter will have an individual table and chair, plus chairs for the students
  1. Presenters will be organized by profession.
  1. Attire should be business casual or your uniform if it complements your presentation
  1. Each Presenter will be issued a table tent where they can write their company name, title and name. You will also be given a lapel name tag for your name.
  1. Presentation boards and handouts that enhance your presentation are welcome
  1. Presenters should be available during the three hour period to discuss their professions with students. Presenters should be prepared to provide the following information to the students:
  • Who is my employer or business
  • What is my job title
  • Training and/or Educational requirements for my job
  • Why I chose this profession
  • What are my day to day responsibilities
  • Things I like most about my job
  • Things I like least about my job
  • Share with participants information on any extra curricular activities such as professional organizations, trade associations, etc. that you may be a member of
  1. Enthusiasm in presenting your information is encouraged
  1. Encourage students to come up and talk to you even if they may not show an interest in your profession. Remember, some of us may not be in our first profession of choice.
  1. Presenters should be at the church at 10:30 am for setup and registration
  1. Refreshments will be served
  1. Committee members will be in the Fellowship Hall to assist with directing students to the Presenters locations

  1. Presenters will be setup in the Fellowship Hall. To get to the Fellowship Hall as you enter the church grounds, proceed up the left drive past the Canopy entrance. Continue up the drive and make a right into the large parking area and find a space. As you walk toward the church, prior to going down the steps, proceed down the left sidewalk toward the door to the left. This is the part of the building that sticks out closest to the parking area. There will be someone to direct you to the entrance. There will be no entrance through the main doors under the canopy. Directions and additional church information can be found at
