Thank you for your emailof 05 March 2014, received in the Department on 05 March 2014,in which you requested information about IT/HR Software Systems.

Your request asked for the following:

Please could you provide the following information regarding your ERP IT System/Software:

1. Does the council use SAP ERP software? How many users, and how many key users are on SAP?
2. Which version are you currently using (e.g. 4.6, 4.7, 5.0, ECC6...)? Please give breakdown of all components i.e. ERP, HR, CRM etc.

3. Which enhancement pack level are you on? What date did you go live on that enhancement pack?
4. Which Support pack stack (SPS) are you on? What date did you go live on those SPS?
5. When are you planning your next SAP upgrade, enhancement pack or support pack stack implementation and to what version will you be upgrading to?

6. Do you currently outsource your SAP upgrade/maintenance/enhancement project & services and to which company?
7. What is the value of the contract and when does the contract expire?
8. Who is the person responsible for the SAP system (specifically related to upgrades and enhancements) - please provide full name, title and contact information (if possible)

I have considered your request under the terms of the Freedom of Information Act 2000. I confirm that the Department holds information that you have requested, and I am able to supply it to you.

1. Does the council use SAP ERP software? How many users, and how many key users are on SAP? Yes we do use SAP ERP. We have approx. 2200 occasional users and 200 key users.

2. Which version are you currently using (e.g. 4.6, 4.7, 5.0, ECC6...)? Please give breakdown of all components i.e. ERP, HR, CRM etc. We currently use ECC6. ERP: Part HR, FI, CO, AP, AR, AS, SRM, BW/BPC, PI, Portal and Solution Manager.

3. Which enhancement pack level are you on?What date did you go live on that enhancement pack?We are currently on enhancement pack EP6 and we went live on this pack in April 2013.

4. Which Support pack stack (SPS) are you on?What date did you go live on those SPS? We generally use 09 but for the BI systems its 05. We went live on these on 03/03/2014 for BI 20/05/2013.

5. When are you planning your next SAP upgrade, enhancement pack or support pack stack implementation and to what version will you be upgrading to? We will be upgrading BW 7.31 to SPS09 in the summer of 2014.

6. Do you currently outsource your SAP upgrade/maintenance/enhancement project & services and to which company? The support for our systems is all in house.

7. What is the value of the contract and when does the contract expire? N/A
