This document explains and demonstrates how to prepare your camera-ready manuscript for the 8th International Conference on Innovation and Knowledge Management in Asia Pacific 2016. Please read these instructions carefully and follow the outline of this text. The margin for your manuscript is 25.4 mm (1 inch) each side. Do not place any text or figure outside this area. The paper should be around 6 pages in length (tables and figures exclusive).

The manuscript must be in English. On receiving the manuscript, we assume that the corresponding authors grant us the copyright to use the manuscript for the proceedings of the conference.

Introduction

Organization of the Text

Section Headings. The section headings are in boldface capital and lowercase letters and left aligned. Second level headings are typed as part of the succeeding paragraph.

Spacing. In general, single line spacing should be used. For separation of sections, tables and figures, an additional line of spacing is expected.

Footnotes. Footnotes1 should be Times New Roman 10 single spaced and separated from the text by a horizontal line.

Tables. Tables (refer with: Table 1, Table 2, …) should be presented as part of the text. A descriptive title should be placed above each table. The caption should be self-contained and placed above the table.

Figures. Figures (refer with: Fig. 1, Fig. 2, …) also should be presented as part of the text. The caption should be self-contained and placed below the figure. Only original high resolution drawings or photographic reproductions are acceptable. Please insert the figures in correct alignment with the text and the softcopy is identical to the hardcopy with regard to the layout and contents.

Equation. Equations (refer with: Eq. 1, Eq.2, …) should be indented 12 mm (1/2 inch). There should be one line of space before and after the equation. The equations have to be numbered sequentially, and the number put in parentheses at the right-hand edge of the text.

Literature References. References cited in the manuscript must be in Harvard style. That is, shown within the text as the first author’s name followed by a comma and year of publication all in parenthesis, e.g. (Chan, 2001). At the end of the manuscript, a list under the heading References must be given in alphabetical order as follows:

For books:

surname, initials, (year), book title, publisher, place of publication.

For journals:

surname, initials, (year), “article title”, journal name, volume, issue/number, pages.
