Methow Valley Communications District

PO Box 1031

Winthrop, WA 98862

Dear Contractor:

The District is pleased to learn that you are interested in being placed on our Small Works Roster for public works projects.

Please complete the attached application form and return it to our office. Upon receipt of this application, a completed W-9 form, and a certificate of General Liability Insurance, we will place your name on the Small Works Roster for consideration for any project your company is prepared and equipped to perform.

Your inclusion on our Small Works Roster is contingent upon the following:

  • Valid business license – building contractors must be registered, bonded, and insured.
  • If you have employees, you must have an active account with the Department of Labor & Industries and the Department of Employment Security to provide insurance as required by law.
  • The District does not require the payment of prevailing wage for its public works projects.

Whenever the District is soliciting for building projects or other public works projects, the District will request bid quotations from contractors on the Small Works Roster who have indicated a capability of performing the kind of work being contracted.

The District does not pre-pay for services and materials unless specific arrangements have been approved by the Board of Directors. Businesses contracting with the District may submit progress billings based on services or materials provided. The Board meets on the second Monday of each month, at which time vendor invoices are approved for payment. The County Treasurer issues warrants for payment within seven days of approval.

We look forward to doing business with you. If you have any questions you may contact us at any time:
