Amendment Fee

An amendment fee of $25 will apply when changes are made to an existing booking.

Cancelation Fee

* Booking cancellation fee of $95.00 applies to customers who cancel their booking.

Attention to Cars Refunds. Refunds can take up to seven (7) working days to process.

Personal Belongings

Personal belongings may be left in the vehicle

NO MORE than 100kg of personal belongings will be allowed in the vehicles.

Items allowed are suitcases of clothing, linen & towels, children’s small toys.

Make sure items are packed below the window line so all windows are not blocked and the drivers' seat is able to be moved back and forth.

Please do not pack any excessively heavy items.

No flammable, dangerous goods, kitchen appliances, boxes of books or organic goods may be packed in the vehicle.

Personal items are not covered by the vehicle's transit insurance and are left in the vehicle at the owner's risk.

Vehicles going to Wa with items may also need searching and approval before collection, as per quarantine inspection.

• As per WA Quarantine legislation - If your vehicle is travelling into WA, your vehicle may be subject to a Quarantine Inspection.

• If your vehicle is found to be contaminated and does not pass WA Quarantine Inspection you will incur a minimum Quarantine cleaning fee.

• Please ensure that your vehicle is as clean as possible prior to transportation to avoid any delays and additional charges.

Insurance

In most cases your car is insured during transit. Please contact SMB Car Transport for more details.

• Where the carrier provides loading & unloading insurance, transit insurance or any other type of insurance, any claims must be made directly to the transport carrier.

• The first $800.00 of any claim shall be payable by the client are limited to the market value of the vehicle

• No carriers insurance covers weather damage or other forces of nature, disaster events, mechanical damage, fire, stone chips or general wear & tear

• The Carrier accepts no responsibility for any loss or damage to second hand vehicles in “poorcondition†or manufactured prior to the year 1980.

• If you have general insurance on your car please check with your insurance provider to what it covers. It may not cover transit insurance.

External Accessories

All roof racks, weather shields, rear window louvers, bonnet protectors, car covers and tow bar tongues should be removed.

Petrol

Please ensure there is at least a 1/4 tank of petrol in the car.

Drivable

Unless specified the vehicle must have working brakes, steering and wheels and be in a drivable condition with no major body damage. Vehicle must have a minimum ground clearance of 15cm from the lowest point of the vehicle.

Transit Times

Transit times are an estimate only and based on business days, unforeseeable delays may occur with weather, staffing, demand etc.

Depot storage fees

You may be charged daily storage fees if the car is not picked up within the delivery date.
