5.MATTERS ARISING

5.1Parking on Old High Road by contractors working on the Persimmon site.The clerk spoke to the Persimmon site foreman. He will ask the contractors to park more considerately.

5.2At a recent meeting with Norse the area of Brewers Green that wasn’t sufficiently being cut was discussed and it was hoped that the cutting area would be extended closer to the ditch. It appears that during the recent cut the area has still not been addressed. The Clerk spoke to Norse and they agreed to speak to the gangmowing team.

5.3It was reported that the old column on Copeman Road is still in place and no update has been received from Pearce & Kemp regarding completion of the works. Pearce & Kemp sentapologies saying that this should have been removed and their engineer had signed the job as complete, they will complete the removal when their column vehicle is in the area.

5.4Street light on Nicholls Way is still out despite it being reported to Pearce & Kemp.Pearce & Kemp have repaired the outage.

5.5The light outage on High Road opposite the entrance to The Close has been inspected by Pearce & Kemp and an engineer’s report is expected.Pearce & Kemp reported that the pole bracket is in poor condition and they are struggling to find a replacement 2m outreach pole bracket.

5.6A request from tenants for toilet facilities at the allotments was received. It was discussed and was thought to be a good idea. Action: John Taylor agreed to draw up a plan.
