Young people aim for reporting success
A group of local young people have been investigating <inset topic > in <insert place/area> as part of a national competition. <Insert group name> are participating in Young Reporters Scotland, a nationwide competition run by environmental charity, Keep Scotland Beautiful. As part of the competition, young reporters are asked to investigate an environmental problem or issue within their community and produce a report which highlights solutions.

Young Reporters Scotland aims to inspire young people to increase knowledge and awareness of an economically, socially and environmentally just world. The competition is open to anyone aged 11-21 either as an individual or as part of a group. Young people can submit entries in a range of media, from video and animation, to articles, blogs and photography. It is an opportunity for young people looking to develop their journalistic skills and become part of an international network of young people striving to help make a difference in their communities.
