What to Bring: We will be in Lake City, Michigan. The temperature will probably be in the 70’s during the day and much cooler in the evening.Check your packing list thoroughly – bring plenty of sunscreen AND warm clothes.

Luggage: Limit yourself to one carry-on (“backpack”) and one suitcase (“big bag”). Be sure to label all of your luggage. Since we will be traveling overnight, you might want to dress in layers. Pillows for the bus are also nice. In your carry-on bag, you may want to pack a tooth brush and any necessary toiletry items.

Spending Money: There will be 3 meal stops on the way to camp and 3 on the way back. There is also a store at camp that sells awesome YL gear – so plan accordingly.

Electronic Devices (Cell Phones, IPods, etc.) Young Life Camp Properties require that all electronic devices (phones, IPods, mp3 players, etc) be taken up and stored in a secure location for the duration of our stay. You may bring these for the bus ride, but you will have to check them in when we arrive at Timber Wolf Lake – everyone will be turning over their electronics before we get off of the bus. They will be collected, labeled and safely stored by the property staff.

Health Form:These are posted on our website [ and included in the camp mailing. These *DO NOT need to be signed by a doctor(*sorry for the miscommunication). Parents and campers must sign themand returnthem to the Young Life office by June 1st. It is especially important to fill in the DATES of last immunizations because the health department will not accept “current”.

Communication: All questions and other communicationsbefore camp should go through the local Young Life office. Please feel free to call us if you need more information. While we are at camp, students can call their parents using the pay phones on the property. Parents can have messages delivered through the camp office (see number below).
