Young Artists Collection – Terms & Conditions
-To enter the competition, you must download and complete an application form which can be found on our website at and email it to along with any number of accompanying photos of your artwork.
-Entrants may only enter one piece of art.
-The artwork must be of a type that it can be physically displayed in a gallery setting at the Young Artists Collection event in July 2018. For example, you may produce a piece of digital painting but you would need to have printed this before the event.This includes mounting and framing.
-Entries to the Young Artists Collection opens on 01 February 2018 and closes on 23:59 30 May 2018. No late submissions will be accepted.
-Entrants must be aged 11 – 18 at the date of entry.
-Artwork submitted must have been completed by the person entering it.
-By submitting an entry to the Young Artists Collection you allow IVE the right to use entries on any promotional materials. Prize winners will be required to participate in photo, recordings, video and/or filming sessions. We have the right to use any resulting publicity materials in any media for a minimum period of 3 years.
-When submitting your entry you must provide your name, date of birth, school and contact details, you should ask for consent from your parent/guardian before you submit your work. IVE will retain this data for a period of 3 years and longer if we are in a continuing relationship regarding the sale and renting of the work.
-You must be prepared to sell or hire out your piece of work to local businesses. Any hire period is for a minimum of one year. You must stipulate whether you wish to offer your work on a hire or sell (or both) basis.
-Any artwork that is shortlisted will need to be available to present to our panel in June and at the Young Artists Collection event in July 2018.
-The judging panel’s decision is final.
-Copyright remains the property of the entrant. You must be the sole artist and confirm that it is your original work. You must not breach any copyright of other artists.
-All income received will be split between the entrant (60%) and We are IVE (40%). All income received by We are IVE will be used to support our charitable work with young people programme. An agreement will be produced upon acceptance into the Art Market.
-Winners will be selected by the 30th July of 2018. They will be notified they have won via email before the 30th of August 2018.
-Submitting an entry to the Young Artists Collection means that you accept these terms and conditions.
-IVE reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time for any reason without giving prior notice.
