Together We are Church
A family is our first community and the most basic way in which the Lord gathers us, forms us and acts in the world. The early Church expressed this truth by calling the Christian family a Domestic Church or the Church of the Home.
May God Bless you in your important role as parents and bless us as we support you in bringing the gift of faith to your children.
The St. John Neumann Religious Education Program aims at supporting our parents by offering consistent, developmental, and formal education in the basic life and worship of Catholic Tradition. Emphasis is placed on the life of Jesus, His message, His values and showing us how to live our lives according to Jesus’ teachings.
We strive to bring our children to a deeper and more loving relationship with the Lord Jesus. If God’s work truly is our own, then, by fulfilling our responsibilities to these young people and with God’s help, our children will come to this graced relationship with our God.
We also encourage the involvement of our Religious Education students in Parish activities. We look forward to sharing weekend Mass with you and your family and encourage you to bring your children to other Parish events such as the Stations of the Cross, Easter Egg Hunt, and Children’s Choir, as well as other activities that occur throughout the Liturgical Season. We believe this participation enables the children to truly experience what it means to be a part of a Parish family.
