We are committed to making sure our students are College & Career Ready. No matter what route you choose we want you to feel prepared and confident. We are offering an incredible lineup at RISING SENIOR NIGHT. Pisgah Counselors will present ‘need-to-know’ info about senior supplies, parking, pictures over the summer, senior ads, and valuable tips for what to do to prepare for next year! We encourage you to come and join us as our special guests help you plan for your dreams. We hope that regardless of the path you hope to pursue, whether it be employment, military, two year or four year college, that you will leave ‘RSN’ more prepared and encouraged.

MEET & GREET: 5:15pm-5:45pm – Lobby outside of auditorium

Please check-in upon your arrival for packet pick-up and then visit with our

guests. We ask that you please be courteous of the 5:45 start time so that

you do not miss valuable information and so our special guests can attend the

meeting as well. Thank you!

PRESENTATION:

Focus: Preparation starts NOW for employment/military/two-year/four-year college/financial aid/ scholarships

The Lineup: Dr. Brian Noland (President of ETSU-Message for Students), Teresa Heinz & Andi Lawing (Counseling Center News), Heather Allen (Entering the Workforce), Sgt. Eric Robinson (Military Recruitment), David Pressley (PHS Athletic Dir./NCAA), Matt Heimburg (Haywood Community College), Carolyn Kuzell (Mars Hill-Private Institution), Dawn Bridwell (ETSU-Public Institution), Epic Senior Portraits Representative (Summer Senior Photos).

These guests will be sharing valuable snippets of information about their organizations and institutions in hopes that you get the inside scoop before you start the application process. What are colleges looking for, and how do they differ from private to public? A Q&A with the three represented schools will be open at the end of the session.

PRINTED PACKETS OF RESOURCES, ASSIGNED to YOU, will be distributed in the lobby concerning graduation materials (Jostens), senior photos (new process!), senior yearbook ads, senior checklists/timeline, essay tips, ACT/SAT dates, CFNC materials, etc.

Please check-in at the event for a chance to win a DOOR PRIZE. (Junior student MUST be present to win).
