Year 11 Art Cycle 2
7 to 9 – I Can / Lesson 1: Observational drawing from the paintings of Ernst Ludwig Kirchner & Emil Nolde.Lesson 2: Complete the drawing from Kirchners paintings of your choice. Print 4 photocopies of your drawing and manipulate these by using 4 different techniques (water colour, collage, pointillism, frottage).
Lesson 3: Reproduce a copy of Nolde’s work. Use a ball point/fine line pen on one copy, making expressive marks.
Lesson 4: Make a list of expressive words & design appropriate fonts/colours. Make a stencil of 4 words to print using spray paint, acrylic paint. Use lino to print words based on Conrad Felixmüller
Lesson 5: Continue and complete drawing from Kirchner & Nolde’s work.
Lesson 6: Use another media to recreate an art work by German Expressionists.
