Agenda:

  1. Data Integrations – met with all auditors, have to ensure that everything is sustainable but everything is going well.
  2. StarFish – Retention

-Have had quite a bit of problems, no foreseeable full integration and functionality date. Denver is having the same problems.

-Hoping to have integration by census date, but this may not hold true.

-Looking at other possible plans.

  1. Fire Engine Red – Recruiting

-CRM from Admissions and Records.

-Communication back and forth of students.

-Trying to get info out of Fire Engine Red.

-Will keep Royal and OAO.

-For prospective students only.

  1. OnBase/Singularity
  2. Kicking off OnBase and will take over Singularity.

-Will pull in different areas depending on when they want to be integrated.

-Phased approached.

-Working well, though some adjustments need to be made

-Three people sent from each campus will learn how to use the system and will then come back to teach others on the campus.

  2. Project management, portfolio, resource allocation and business case submission tool

-Other campuses are using this as well.

-IT users have licenses. Campus is able to log in to a database and can follow the progress of their project (that IT is working on).

-Any project that an outside department wants to bring forward will be determined after review of their business case submission.

-Covers the taking in and the tracking of projects that are submitted to IT.

-Planning and decision making tool.

-Ensure that everything is updated within the last 6 months.

-Everyone must review all web pages by September so that the sites are prepared for the auditors.

-Logos must be updated and consistent and eradicate all outdated information.

  1. Working on new Home Page with Marketing

-Web services and Marketing is integrating video on their new homepage.

-Distraction if page is left open for an elongated period of time? We don’t want people to shut a page down because of this.

-Change the AutoPlay video or halt the video loop after several plays.

-Analytics

-Very good as of now.

-Marketing and IT were going to split costs. IT will purchase it this year and Marketing will budget to pay in next year.

-IT has completed the purchase.

  1. Excel Center Login Page

-New login at Excel centers.

-Many other places on campus want it.

-Tracks the comings and goings of who is using the centers.

-Extended Hours 8am – 7pm first 2 Weeks of the Semester

-After the first two weeks, the hours will be drawn back to normal – 8am to 6 pm

-Will push 2016 to entire campus.

-Will send out keyboard shortcuts and aid in allowing people to have people have more of a ‘Windows 7’ experience.

-Help Desk is creating a self-service to aid in downloading specific applications.

  1. UIS - Portal / Mobile App

-All three campus start on Monday, so UIS has been doing benchmark testing for the Portal. Boulder wasn’t having good results, but fixed bugs.

-Denver was having problems with their test environment.

-UCCS goes to LDAP that authenticates people easily, but their test environment has been set up from UIS to test Portal. (See UIS in f.)

-RSS feed was what was causing problems, it has been isolated and is being solidified.

-The mobile app is still a concern with too high of internal server requests and unable to process at that level.
