Programme

HR Delivering in Turbulent Times
The economic downturn which has affected most sectors during 2008 is a significant test for all those involved in human resource management and workforce planning, and in advising organisations on their HR management and strategies. As organisations are re-engineering to maintain their competitiveness in the short-term, they must continue to plan for the future and embrace new business opportunities. XBHR’s 2009 Conference will address the ambiguity of these various challenges.
As part of the evolution of XBHR’s offerings to meet the needs of its members, this year’s conference will place less emphasis on traditional panel presentations, and more emphasis on interactive discussion. Through the conference, we will be using a variety of different session formats to maximise the debate and the consequential value which conference delegates will take back to their own organisations after the conference.
Please note that in addition to the programme sessions noted below, there will also be further keynote speakers. The precise running order of all the sessions and speakers, and timing of the lunch breaks, will be finalised and advised to you as soon as the remaining speakers have confirmed the timing of their sessions.
