WWCUSBC QUEENS TOURNAMENT RULES

  1. Only certified adult female members of the WWCUSBC are eligible to participate in this tournament. Certification must be verified at check-in. Bowlers whose membership cannot be verified within 10 days will be disqualified.
  2. Entrants shall use their highest 2015-16 WWC USBC yearbook average. If no yearbook average, entrants shall use their highest current season average of 12 games or more as of the date ofbowling. Current league sheet must be submitted with entry. If no yearbook or current average, entrants will enter at 230. Former Youth bowlers who enter shall follow these same eligibility requirements.
  3. Substitutes shall be allowed provided they meet the eligibility requirements set forth in rules #1 and #2.
  4. Entry fee is $22.00 and should be paid by check or money order, payable to the WWC USBC.
  5. Four (4) games will be bowled on one pair of lanes. The highest three (3) games, including handicap will determine the Queens Tournament Champion. If there is a tie for first place, co-champions will be declared, with first and second place prize winnings divided equally and duplicate awards given.
  6. It is each bowler’s responsibility to verify the accuracy of their average. Correction of an average must be made by the end of the first game. Failure to use the proper average shall disqualify score if submitted average is lower than actual average, thereby resulting in more handicap. Prize winnings shall be based on the submitted average if it is higher than the actual average.
  7. Entries will be scheduled according to requests, if possible, with a maximum of four (4) bowlerson a lane.
  8. Any bowler arriving after the game has started will be allowed to bowl and their score to count beginning in the frame than being bowled.NO SCORES GIVEN FOR FRAMES MISSED.
  9. A protest involving eligibility or playing rules must be confirmed in writing to the tournament manager before the prize payments are made. After a score has been recorded, it cannot be changed except where there is an obvious error in scoring or calculations. Obvious errors must be corrected by a tournament official when found. Questionable errors shall be decided by tournament management. The Board of Directors of the WWC USBC shall have the power to act on all protests arising from or under construction of the rules of the WWC USBC Tournament. This decision is final unless an appeal is made in accordance with Rule 329.
  10. A tournament entrant cannot re-bowl a game or frame(s) within a game except as authorized by tournament management when the scores are irretrievably lost in the scoring process.
  11. USBC rules 319a-2, 319d, and 319e do not apply to this tournament.
  12. No food or beverages are allowed in the playing area, except for medical reasons.
  13. The entrants whose names appear hereon or their authorized replacements hereby agree the WWCUSBC, its officers and agents shall be liable only to the extent of returning entry fees if and when these entrants shall be prevented from bowling the tournament through premature termination of the tournament, which may be brought about by war, national emergency or emergencies or causes relating thereto or resulting there from, fires, strikes, lockouts, labor difficulties or other causes beyond the control of the WWCUSBC.
