Autobiografia: JH
You will make an autobiography (about yourself) in Spanish. You may choose to do an oral presentation using a collage with pictures or a PowerPoint (to depict things that you are expressing about yourself), or a video. If you are choosing to do an oral presentation, you may not read it. Below are the guidelines for your project. On the CCS website, I have included a Rubric for your project. There is also a video sample. Please download the documents and keep with you.
Instructions
Written part dueFriday, September 11, 2015
Make two copies of the written part; one is for you and another for me. If you are unable to type it, you may write it; but it must be legible, extremely neat, and leave one line blank in between (I need space to write corrections or comments).
*Everything must be in Spanish. Points will be taken off if you write parts in English.
*Complete name, class name (Español), date and your student number goes at the top right hand corner.
*Title – autobiografia
*Justified and use paragraph form.
*Font size (14)
* Font style : Ariel o Times New Roman.

*Work must be clean, neat, and legibly.
*Use correct grammar and spelling (discussed in class).
*Work is turned in on time.
Oral Presentation – will begin September 11, 2015.
You must be ready with your material when I call you. You must prepare for your oral presentation. Give yourself time to practice and rehearse at home. I will give you class time to practice by yourself and with your peers. Make a collage of pictures that represent you (if you play basketball – you might want to have a picture of a basketball. If you are a swimmer, you might want to have a picture of a pool or someone swimming, etc). You may also create a PowerPoint but it cannot include sentences or voice over, just have the pictures to guide you. However, you may add key words or note cards to help you remember and guide you along. In other words, you will not be allowed to read your entire presentation in front of the class. Your voice projection is an important part of your grade and everyone in the class has to be able to hear you. (We will practice voice projection in class). Stand properly and look at your audience when you are delivering your presentation. Your presentation time is three minutes. Know your material because I will ask you questions from your autobiography and I will expect answers. Example of questions and answers: ¿Cómo te llamas? (What is your name?); ¿Cuántos años tienes? (How old are you?), etc..
Video-is due when you are chosen to do your presentation beginning September 7th.
Practice video recording before you make your final copy. Make sure you do proper editing. If you are using still images make sure you have smooth transitions. The images must support your overall content. If you are using moving images, ensure that motion scenes are planned and purposeful. All scenes must have sufficient lighting for viewer to easily see action. The camera or iPad must be held steady so that scenes are clearly focused. The audio must be clear to effectively communicate the content. Your video should not be longer than three minutes. Know your material because I will ask you questions from your autobiography and I will expect answers. Example of questions and answers: ¿Cómo te llamas? (What is your name?); ¿Cuántos años tienes? (How old are you?), etc..
