Wrangling Up Some Second Grade Homework!
- Pick one activity from each row, one for reading, one for math, and one for spelling to complete and turn in on Friday. Color the box as you complete the activity. Parents you are encouraged to help your child, as needed, to make homework a positive experience. Have Fun!!
- Return to school on Friday with the Tic-Tac-Toe board, and the work attached. If you complete an activity that did not require paper, have your parent initial the box by the activity.
- The spelling list will come home on a separate sheet.
- This grid will be returned to you for three weeks then you will receive a new one.
- If you are unable to print any of the times for your child, email your child’s teacher, and we will print and send it home with them.

Go to the second grade website and print out the reading passage and answer the questions.

Go to the second grade website and print out the worksheet to complete, and turn in. / Batter’s Up Baseball
Click on the link below the play Batter’s Up Baseball, and practice adding three digit numbers together.
/ Crazy Fonts
Type each spelling word four times on a computer in different fonts. If you can’t type them write them in different ways. Print out and turn in. / Sentences
Use each spelling word in a sentence. / Poem
Write a poem using 10 of your spelling words.
