Administrative Assistance

Office Help

Day-to-day administrative tasks can be overwhelming with most volunteers providing outreach services out of the office. We need individuals to answer and make calls, maintain our databases, update our web site and other similar tasks.

Board of Directors

The board of directors is our governing board and is responsible for organization decision-making. This core group meets quarterly and reviews Wounded Wings’ programs, fundraisers and events to ensure the sustainability of the organization. The board also works to ensure the day to day operations of the organization are in aligned with both it’s mission and vision.

Youth Programs

Program Planning Team

Work with caterers, media, travel agents, and community organizers to plan educational, social and fundraising events. These events are designed to provide learning and networking opportunities for women and girls in our community. You must have strong communication skills, be dependable and a team player.

Mentors

You can change a life by spending just a few hours a month providing support and guidance to someone in need. For this position, you must have a clear criminal background and be able to spend at least five hours per month providing face-to-face mentoring.

Program Facilitator

Our program facilitators lead discussions on abuse, parenting, career skills, etc for small groups. Facilitators may use our standard calendar and speaking topics or may choose to create their own individualized program with the help of our Director of Educational Programming and Outreach. Facilitators create and maintain relationships with our program participants and will need to document attendance and other information for each meeting. Women’s Programs

Independent Moms Network Organizers

As our Independent Moms Network (IMN) continues to grow across the country, we need women to host monthly meetings and activities for moms. These activities may range from bowling outings, book clubs, shopping, a day at the zoo to a night on the town. Events may vary from location to location and organizer to organizer. Our key focus is to keep recruiting new members and to provided networking and outreach opportunities to our moms. IMN Organizers will receive a small cash stipend to support their meeting and organizing needs.
