Coming up is Worland’s 15th Annual CultureFest -- a celebration of the City’s diverse cultural offerings, on Saturday, June 4th, 2016. Summer will be well on its way as organizations come together at the Worland Community Center, 1200 Culbertson Avenue to share the upcoming season. The CultureFest festival will have entertainment, food and provide a once-a-year opportunity to get together as a community to enjoy Worland. The event will be held at the Community Center Complex again this year. The Community Center is happy to be able to provide the venue to be able to keep CultureFest a yearly event in Worland. If any local businesses would like to participate in having any promotions go on during the event, i.e.; raffle booth, trivia contests, etc., please contact me and we will be happy to discuss ways to encourage participants to visit your local downtown business during the CultureFest day’s events.

This year Culturefest will run from 9am – 5pm.

Opening ceremony will take place at 9am followed by a day of fun, food, and entertainment. There will also be a petting zoo in the back field for the family to enjoy. The celebration is sponsored by the Community Center. The day will feature music, food, and artists.

Attached is a Vendor Application. Please return it to us at Worland Community Center Complex, 1200 Culbertson Avenue, Worland, WY 82401 by June 2nd 2016. Booth fees this year are $50.00 for profit entities and $35.00 for non profit entities. If electricity is needed, a $5.00 charge will be added to your booth fee. If WiFi Connection is needed, a $5.00 charge will be added to your booth fee also. Password will be given to you upon arrival at the event. If you would like to reserve a booth space in a certain area of the field, we ask that you go to our website where you will find a layout of the booth spaces. Please CALL the WCCC to reserve your booth space and we will add your name to the layout. If you do not call the community center and reserve a particular booth space, we will assign you one. Please indicate if you need electricity or WiFi! If your booth is longer that 20 feet and you need 2 spaces, you will be charged full price for the first space and **$15.00** extra for the second space. You must furnish your own hardware (i.e. Tables, chairs, extension cords for electricity, etc.) Please let us know by Thursday evening, June 2nd if you will be coming in Friday night to set up in the field with your trailer. If you are going to have a food booth you MUST have a temporary food license which is available by calling Jamie George at 307-347-2501. Attached are the Temporary Food Standard Requirements. Please provide a complete list of items to be offered and sold. Food vendors please provide full menu (you may attach a copy if you prefer.) In order to achieve the highest degree of cooperation our Vendors will be asked to adhere to the list provided. If you are a food vendor please contact Jamie George at 307-347-2501 for information on obtaining a food permit for the event. Obtaining a food permit for the event is your responsibility.

AGREEMENT:

When accepted, I (we agree) -

  1. To accept all liability for any damage caused by the operation of my (our) booth, including the sale of all products and services occurring at such booth, and I (we) expressly relieve the Community Center and the City of Worland of any liability that they have by reason of the operation of my (our) booth.
  2. To comply with all the representations of the application/acceptance agreement and with all the conditions as outlined in the attached Vendor Regulations and Guidelines provided me (us) with this application/acceptance.
  3. To assume full risk of any injury, property damage or loss, which I may sustain because of my (our) participation in all activities, connected with or associated with my (our) participation in CultureFest 2015. Further, I (we) understand that I (we) should carry our own insurance and I (we) display and/or store my (our) own products at my (our) own risk.
  4. I (we) agree that all demonstrations and exhibits may be photographed for publicity purposes.
  5. I (we) agree to pay all necessary fees set forth in this application.

CultureFest 2016 Vendor Application Form

We are thankful for your participation in Worland’s 15th Annual CultureFest. The following is information regarding Vendor Regulations and Guidelines.

Insurance

Vendors are responsible for providing their own insurance.

Booth Fees (20x20 space)

Full payment is due with submission of this application. NO REFUNDS.

If extra space is needed for your booth, please let usknow ahead of time.

Payment

Payment in full is required to reserve your spot. Please send your check or money order payable to WCCC to 1200 Culbertson Avenue, Worland, WY 82401. We require that your account be paid in full prior to your arrival and set-up at CultureFest.

Product Restrictions

No glass containers or carry-in alcohol is allowed. We ask that each Vendor bring only those products, which they have specified. Additional items may not be sold without prior consent.

Sales Tax

You will be responsible for collecting and reporting the sales taxes you collect, if applicable.

Sanitation

Food booths should dispose of all waste, including grease, in appropriate containers. This type of waste is deemed hazardous, and therefore, we ask that you DO NOT dump any of it in the regular trash containers. Vendors are responsible for disposing of this waste themselves in an appropriate manner. Dumpsters will be on site for the disposal of ordinary, non-hazardous trash.

Security

It is advisable NOT to leave valuable merchandise in the booth area. You remain fully responsible for loss or damage to your merchandise, booth, personal affects, etc.

General Vendor Space Information

  1. Each Vendor space is limited to an area large enough to accommodate a 20x20 foot booth. Placement of Vendors in the designated area is the sole discretion of the WCCC.
  2. Vendors are responsible for construction, furnishing lighting, maintaining and removing their booth materials, and leftovers.
  3. All FOOD VENDORS must have a Food Permit.
  4. Vendor Booths should have:
  • Three side available for your booth (booth may be left open), and a protective wind or rain roof. This is an open-air venue, and tents may need to be weighted down in the event of wind.
  • Vendors are responsible to keep their area free of trash. Food vendors must maintain a healthy atmosphere with all trash/garbage and removed from vending site at regular intervals. All vendors must provide their own fire extinguisher and tie-downs for any propane tanks.
  • *****Vendors are allowed to bring a trailer, however, please indicate that you will be using one.
  • Be sure to prepare for any type of weather, particularly wind and afternoon thunderstorms.
