Workshop with Three Instructors from Japan for Members of the European Branch of the Toyohari Association
We return to Lisbon for a three-day EBTA-sponsored workshop for Toyohari branch members on September 15-17, 2017. The following three instructors will come from Tokyo: Yutaka Shinoda-sensei, Yukiko Ebana-sensei and Tetsuro Nakayama-sensei. If needed, Stephen Birch will also be the fourth teacher. As usual the workshop will include practicing the basics, needle practice with feedback, Kozato practice, lectures on topics that we will negotiate with the instructors, and of course question-answer sessions.
The workshop is in the same beautiful hotel as the 2014 workshop. Relatively inexpensive accommodation can be found in that area in the form of hotels, hostels and bed and breakfasts – you can go on line easily to find places to stay. Also, there are many restaurants, cafes available in the area, and food costs are quite reasonable. The EBTA is underwriting the costs of the workshop to keep the workshop more affordable. It is also possible to get inexpensive flights to Lisbon. We hope that this will attract all to attend.
The first two days will run from 9.00-18.00, the third day from 9.00-16.00. There will be a general membership meeting on the Friday after the day’s workshop and group dinner on the Saturday (at your own cost).

If you book a hotel or apartment with CoolTravel, they have a deadline of August 30 for cancellations. Please discuss this with them.
Cost: 350 euro for the three days. If you pay by June 15, 2017 the cost will be 10% less at 315 euro.
