N.B. Remember to keep your boarding passes / original travel documents, and receipts.

Meeting place:The University of Gothenburg's Faculty of Education, Department of Education, Communication and Learning.

Main items for the kick-off workshop are:

  • Project progress overview
  • Workshop / pilot course
  • Interviews of target group to verify needs and suitability of the online service
  • Dissemination
  • Quality control and monitoring

Please if possible bring a laptop computer and iPad. Please also bring an extension cord for multiple sockets if you need to power your laptop;-)

August 20thMonday

Arrival of teams and check in at hotels / apartments.

18.00 The teams meet in the lobby of the Grand Hotel Opera (most of the TOOLS teams stay in that hotel). Dinner and networking. Please e-mail or phone Kent (0045 40797720) if you want to participate in the dinner (or have a delayed flight etc. )

August 21stTuesday

HelleLykke has been invited to present the project to the faculty in Gothenburg with teachers of Arabic (and other languages). This may open future dissemination and exploitation possibilities

14.00Evaluation of the pilot course

15.00Presentation of the ideas for a CLIL guide structure (UPV and Ulster). Susanne will peer-review the ideas to ensure suitability for subject teachers, i.e. teachers teaching other subject than languages. Susanne teaches electrical engineering and DOMOTICS programming to electricians’ apprentices.
