of the quote are good for a period of 30 days, and subject to steel surcharge if

1.3. BRAKE COOLING SYSTEM

Close loop brake cooling system, to be supplied internally to the 500 bbl fresh

water tank.

1.4. COMBINED GEAR BOX

Cushman model 279 combined gear box consisting of right angle gear box and

drop box.

Right angle gear box ration 1:1 to drive drawworks.

1.8. HYDRAULIC CATWORKS

Hydraulic break out cylinder for breaking out pipe connections, 6 ft stroke,

1.12. TRANSMISSION

COLD WEATHER ENGINE PACKAGE

The engine and transmission is enclosed with steel enclosure with 3 doors on

each side of the rig. The enclosure is such to include AW 1-1/2” insulation

blanket for cold weather. The engine has a heater probe for plugging into A/C

power, from outside source, to provide heat to each when the engine is not in

use. A Wabesto 12V with timer is included to provide preheating of the engine

block/water jacket and fuel line.

1.13. COMPOUND GEAR BOX

Compound gear box, model LCI-280, with pressurized lubrication system.

Manual disconnection of each engine shaft to provide independent operation of

each engine. One output shaft to combined gear box consisting of right angle

gear box and drop box to drive rotary.

Ratio 1.0: 1.0271

1.14. POWER TAKE-OFF

Chelsea 852 XB (or equivalent). Used for hydraulic pump drive, mounted on

transmission, nominal power 100 HP

1.15. HYDRAULIC SYSTEM

Two hydraulic gear pumps, 325 gal. Hydraulic tank, safety by-pass valve,

regulating valve, strainer, complete with all hydraulic piping. Max pressure 2500

PSI, capacity 70 GPM---hydraulic sys to have cooler. To operate hydraulic

Air system with one (1) 60 gal receiver to provide air to main air line and brake

A heavy-duty (4)-axle trailer with air suspension each rated at 25,000 lb capacity.

All lights and brakes are equipped for attachment to the truck. All axles have

spring brake chambers for safety. All axles to be on air ride suspension.

1.21. TIRES (445/65R/22.5, 20 ply) 8 each

Disc wheels, 8 tires mounted as super singles, all tires inflated to 130 psi.

All axles are to have heavy duty air ride suspensions, each rated at 25,000 lb.

1.23. FOUR PEDESTALS FOR HYDRAULIC JACKS

Pedestals under front jacks for rig stability. Four pedestals required. There are

to be six jacks for leveling the rig.

1.24. SIX HYDRAULIC JACKS

Six hydraulic leveling jacks to take off the load from the axles and provide

horizontal position of the rig during operation. Each jack is operated by its own

controls and is equipped with screw with thrust nut, which allows to relieve

hydraulic pressure from the jacks during rig operation. Controls are located at the

mast supports.

1.25. TRAILER RAMP/BASEBEAM

10’ w x 18” h x 55’ l and has hinged section for easier transportation. With steel

covered wheel guides. One 24 ft basebeam.

1.26. FOLDING SIDE WALKWAYS

Folding walkways at each side of the rig. Complete with folding 4 foot high

handrails and stairs with handrail from catwalks to the ground.

Two stairs from the carrier to working floor, two stairs from the ground to the

carrier, width not less than 2.5’, all handrails 4 foot high.

Includes three shafts inside full length guard, complete with sprockets, flanges,

chains and chain gear box with one shaft to connect to rotary table.

1.34. PAINT

Drawworks and all carrier components are painted in standard red color. Derrick

is painted white. Substructure is painted black. Tanks are painted red. These are

our standard colors. They can be changed to customer’s request.

1.35. DERRICKMAN'S EMERGENCY ESCAPE

One Geronimo derrickman emergency escape, including one T-type seat

complete with cable, brake and anchor. Installed at the racking board.

1.36. DERRICKMAN'S SAFETY CLIMBING DEVICE

One safety climbing device including body harness, lock, counterbalance.

Installed at the crown block frame to provide derrickman's safety during climbing

SECTION 5.0 CIRCULATION SYSTEM MANIFOLD

5.1. SUCTION MANIFOLD

SECTION 6.0 CIRCULATION SYSTEM

6.1. TWO TANK MUD SYSTEM (1000 bbl system )

The system will consist of two (2) open top, round bottom tanks –each 500 bbl

The tank will be divided into three (3) compartments and will contain the (1) sand

trap, (2) shale shaker compartment and the (3) degasser/desilter compartment.

It will be outfitted with two (2) 6 x 5 x 11 75 hp, 50 Hz, 460 volt centrifugal

pumps, two (2) 10 hp agitators –. All valves (10” and 6” including two (2) 10”

suction, one (1) 6” equalizing, four (4) butterfly valves, piping, grating and OSHA

style handrails. One stairwell is included. Three (3) explosion proof lights are

included in price. One (1) central electrical point on tank.
