RULES AND REGULATIONS

1.  The trial will be held under the licence, rules and regulations of the Irish Kennel Club Limited.

2.  The Working Trial will be held Annagh, Gorey, Co. Wexford.

3.  The entry fees will be €10.00 for the CD Stake and €17.00 for the UD & WD stakes. Entries close Monday 9th October 2017 (to be received)

4.  Working Trials Club of Ireland reserves the right to refuse any entry.

5.  All dogs entered for competition must be registered or transferred with the Irish Kennel Club Ltd. save in the case of Greyhounds duly registered with the Irish Coursing Club. Failure to comply with the above will result in: (a) the dog being disqualified from the event AND (b) the exhibitor being fined €127.00 - the implementation of which shall be a normal office routine. All appeals to the Irish Kennel Club should carry a fee of €6.35 - refundable if the appeal is upheld.

6.  All competitors will be notified of their report times in writing approximately two weeks before the trial. A draw for TD competitors’ report groups will be conducted by the IKC. A further draw for tracking order will take place at the trials base.

7.  Mating of bitches within the precincts of the show grounds is forbidden.

8.  No bitch in season is allowed to compete or be present on the grounds.

9.  Judges and judging: In the event of any appointed judge failing to keep his/her engagement, the committee shall have the right to appoint another judge. No claim will be considered in the event of any exhibit being late. No person will be allowed in the judging area except the judge, show officials or an exhibitor taking in a dog for adjudication.

10.  Working Trials Club will not be responsible for any damage or loss sustained through accident by exhibits, exhibitors or any other person attending the trial.

11.  In the event of unforeseen circumstances arising, WTCI, in consultation with the judge, reserves the right to make any other arrangements as may be deemed necessary. The IKC will be notified of such changes.

12.  Each exhibitor is responsible for keeping his or her dog under proper control at all times.

13.  The catalogue will be compiled from entry forms and while every effort will be made to have the forms correctly interpreted, the committee cannot accept any responsibility for mistakes that may bring the exhibitors within the purview of the IKC Rule 15, Section 1, or for clerical errors that may occur during compilation.

  1. All competitors must show respect for the judge. Training rounds will only be allowed if prior permission has been given by the judge.

DECLARATION, UNDERTAKING AND AGREEMENT BY OWNER OR AGENT

1. I hereby declare that the dog/dogs entered by me as above are registered in my name with the Irish Kennel Club.

2. I hereby declare that the dog/dogs entered by me as above are not vicious, and are bona-fide my property, and I enter them subject to the rules of the Irish Kennel Club and the Regulations of the Show which appear in the schedule and which I have read.

3. I hereby undertake not to bring within the precincts of the show any dog which has (a) distemper or other communicable disease, unless it has been fully recovered for more than 30 days immediately prior to the show or (b) has been in contact with or in any kennel or establishment containing distemper or any other communicable disease during 30 days immediately prior to the show or (c) has been inoculated with distemper virus or displayed any reaction there from during the 30 days immediately prior to the show or (d) has been in contact during the 30 days immediately prior to the show with any dog which was previously inoculated with distemper within 30 days.

4. In consideration of my entry being accepted, I hereby agree (1) to indemnify the IKC Ltd and/or its trustees or officials in respect of any damage or loss from whatsoever source arising, caused by, or to any dogs exhibited by me while in the precincts of the show and (2) that any decision given concerning me by the IKC Ltd or by any committee thereof in connection with any matter whatsoever arising through or at this show shall be communicated by the secretary of the IKC Ltd. To all whom it may concern, and that any such decision together with a report of the proceedings in the matter may also be published together with my name, address and description.

5. I hereby undertake to abide by the rules and regulations of the IKC Ltd, and of its show.

6. I undertake to indemnify the promoters against any claims arising out of my participation as a competitor in the show.

I acknowledge and accept unreservedly that any child attending to exhibit or otherwise participate at any event organised by, licenced by or otherwise under the auspices of, The Irish Kennel Club Ltd (IKC) remains the responsibility and in the care of their parent or guardian at all times.

I consent to photographic/video/video images of the named child’s participation in licenced events organised by, licenced by or otherwise under the auspices of the IKC being utilised for the promotion and celebration of IKC activities on the IKC website, IKC Facebook page and in local and national media.
