2013 CSA
CSA stands for “community supported agriculture”. Being a part of a CSA is kind of like subscribing to a magazine. One reserves a share at the beginning of the growing season, and in return receives a weekly “share” of the farms harvest for 16 weeks. Consumers create relationships with the farmers that grow their food, part take in the risks and bounty of agriculture and by pre purchasing or reserving shares at the beginning of the season the farmer is economically aided at the most expensive time of the year. There are several options for a CSA share at Peaked Moon Farm
Farm stand credit-The consumer purchases “credit” at the farm stands at a discounted rate and may use the credit at their leisure once harvesting begins until it’s gone. Store credit can be used on all Peaked Moon products for sale i.e.produce, meat, eggs, bread, and baked goods. You can also use this credit for your special orders. If a consumer plans on using more than $50 a week, it’s important that we are made aware so we can plan for the week accordingly with extra goods!
Pre-packed Boxes-The consumer receives a box pre-packed with an assortment of vegetables once a week for 16 weeks. All you have to do is pick your box up!

Half Share(The equivalent ofa half bushel basket)
