  1. Nottinghamshire County Council invites you to participate in a mini-competition for the provision of transport services as detailed in the attached Specification of Service. These services will be operated in accordance with the Timetable (see attached) and Service Agreement included as part of Framework Agreement (Ref.PR000788 & EASD-9DC-JBKEASD-9GV-BRV9KKH-R4FVDB9QCJ-NWAWJS & 9W3J-BMB6HI & DN33360)
  1. No tender will be considered unless it is made through the eastmidstenders web portal and submitted to the County Council as detailed in this Invitation to Tender. No tender will be able to be submitted after the stipulated closing time.
  1. The tender bid must be made by completing the Specification Breakdownfor each contract which you are submitting a tender. You are required to enter prices which must be exclusive of VAT, against each individual contract you wish to tender.
  1. A value must be submitted in the £ column against both price per day and price per mile (variation rate) for a bid to be accepted. Any supporting documents, should be attached at this stage by the tenderer.
  1. Please ignore the Grand Total figure as this has no bearing on your individual submissions. It is just a running total of all the values submitted.
  1. Prices should be submitted as a daily rate.
  1. So as to be submitted not later than 12.00 p.m. on Tuesday 17th May 2016.
  1. Contracts will be awarded on the basis of 100% price and 0% quality as referred to in the Framework Agreement. In the event of equal bids the Variation Rate may be used to determine award.
  1. The successful tender, when duly accepted on behalf of the County Council, will become a formal contract between the Council and the Contractor.
  1. The Council do not undertake to accept the lowest or any tender and where tenderers also submit an overall price for a combination or combinations of contracts may decide to accept the price quoted for any individual contract(s). Where there are supplementary requirements on any contract the Council reserves the right to delay a decision on any award of these elements to a later date.
  1. Tenders must not be qualified but must be submitted strictly in accordance with the tender documents. Qualified tenders and referential bids will be excluded from further consideration.
  1. Your tender should remain open for acceptance by the Council for a period of three calendar months after the date given in paragraph 7.
  1. Any queries or clarification regarding this tender during the tender period should be submitted through the messaging facility titled ‘View Discussions’.
