· PT16/1290/LB – Hambrook Grove Hotel Bristol Road. An appeal has been made against the decision of Refusal.
· Joint Spatial Plan and Joint Transport Study. This is looking into drawing up plans to steer development in our area over the next 20 years. Consultation documents can be viewed and comments made at www.jointplanningwofe.org.uk. Comments need to be made by Monday 19th December 2016.
· South Gloucestershire Council propose to make an order to introduce a 20mph speed limit in Burrough Way, Branksome Drive, Friary Grange Park, Green Lane, Heath Close, Linden Close, Parkside Avenue and part of Swan Lane. The purpose of this scheme is to reduce traffic speeds in the vicinity of local schools. A copy of the draft order can be seen at Winterbourne Library or on the web site www.southglos.gov.uk/consultation
· South Gloucestershire Council has received an application for the temporary closure of Down Road from Harcombe Hill to Quarry Lane. This is for Monday 26th December 2016 between 1130 and 1330 hours for the holding of the annual Winterbourne Down Mummers Play and Morris Dance.
· As part of the Challenge Fund Improvement Project, essential resurfacing work will take place overnight on the A4174 ring road from Wednesday 16 November to Friday 2 December. There will be overnight closures of both carriageways of the A4174 between Wick Wick roundabout and Hambrook traffic lights between 8pm and 6am.
